Day One:
Morning: Start the day with a scenic drive to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, located just 15 miles east of Montrose. Explore the park’s rim and take in the stunning views of the deep and narrow Black Canyon.
Afternoon: Drive to Ridgway State Park, located about 30 minutes south of Montrose. Spend the afternoon hiking, fishing, or simply relaxing by the reservoir.
