While the majority of the runs are designed for beginners and intermediate skill levels, there are some advanced runs as well. Powderhorn also has a great ski school for children or for those who are looking to get an instructor to brush up on their skills. Not only is this ski resort for all levels of skiers, but it is also a great spot for snowboarders to enjoy!
Telluride Ski Resort: Recognized internationally as one of the best skiing and snowboarding destinations, Telluride Ski Resort offers 2,000 acres of skiable terrain, including groomed runs, moguls, and backcountry areas. Telluride offers runs for beginners, intermediate, and advanced skiiers and snowboarders.
Located about 65 miles southwest of Montrose, Telluride is also known for its charming historic town with great dining and shopping options – making it a great destination for those who ski or those who would rather spend the day exploring the town!
